I don't mean that as an insult. But have you ever read
something where you were said to yourself, "Wow! He just
doesn't get it."? I just had that moment reading your post.1) Mike Smith is not out of business. In fact, he is possibly
the best engine builder for the VG30DETT. If you want an
engine built by him, get on the 2 year waiting list. There is a
reason for that. 2) His knowledge is so vast and he's done so much for the
community well before you were around or crappy AMS/Z1
Motorsports. I've been on this forum since the beginning
(actually was on the old twinturbo.com forum). And sir, it
was a much smaller/closer/tight knit community back then.
Mike Smith is an innovator and a huge asset to the
community. Again, this goes back to 1997 for me. So when
you come here talking whatever it is that you talk, remember
you're talking to people who are very close to one another
and also that know their stuff. I wouldn't go around shitting
in your backyard. Don't do it in my backyard. You sound so
naive that it's just better if you really just admit to yourself
that you know nothing of Mike Smith's business and leave it at
that. 3) You love AMS. That's fine. You have that right. Just
keep in mind most people here don't. That will NEVER change
due to shady business practices. It's a battle you can't win.
The "other" forum is for the AMS fans. As you can see, the
knowledge lives over here which is probably why you're here.
You are saying really silly things about the people WHO BUILT
THIS COMMUNITY and you don't even realize it. Again, please
sit back and think for a few minutes about that and then
maybe you'll realize how much you've benefited from the
knowledge around here. And if you don't think that, it's
probably better to spend your time elsewhere because there
really is no other reason to be here. I'm not really sure who you think you are. But please show a
little more respect for the people that advanced the
community along and expanded the possibilities for the Z32
platform. Mike Smith IS one of the most important people in
the history of the Z32. Remember that.
